Terraluminite : a commercial trap !
A new stone is currently circulating on the market and on the web : terraluminite. Be careful, this is actually an inappropriate trade name ("misnomer") to designate pink granite. This name was registered by the American company Heaven and Earth LLC and thus allows them to sell pieces of granite sometimes at more than 40 € per tumbeld stone !!! These stones usually come from North America, but potentially from anywhere. Remember that granite constitutes the continental crust with a thickness of 30 to 80 km... and is currently negotiated at 100 € per tonne... The samples are often accompanied by a "certificate of authenticity".
We find both raw pieces (see photo) as well as polished or cut stone, generally in esotericism and lithotherapy shops.
