What is an xenomorphic crystal ?
Xenomorphic : definition
Said of a mineral which, although crystallized, presents itself with an unspecified aspect. This absence of geometric shapes results from the competition between the growing crystals : the resulting lack of space prevents the crystal faces from developing freely. The crystals are then reduced to occupying the vacant places available and take on xenomorphic appearances.
